This page explains what data the food-connect.fr website processes. The data controller is TheAppsFactory, SASU, 24 rue Abel Gance, 84100 Orange, France.

What the website collects

The website is a showcase and a blog: it offers no accounts and no online sales. It only receives personal data if you write to us, through the chat bubble or by email.

Like any web server, our hosting records technical logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) to keep the website secure and running properly. These logs are used for nothing else and are deleted automatically after a short period.

The chat bubble

The chat bubble at the bottom of the page is provided by Hooky (heyhooky.com), a TheAppsFactory service. If you use it, we receive your message and its attachments, your first name and email if you provide them, as well as the page address and your browser’s language and time zone. This information is used only to reply to you.

So that you can pick up the conversation when you come back, the bubble stores an identifier in your browser’s local storage. You can erase it at any time by deleting the website’s data in your browser.

Cookies and audience measurement

The website sets no cookies, whether advertising or analytics. It only counts clicks to the App Store and Google Play, along with the page language, without cookies and without identifying you. So no consent banner is needed. Fonts are served from our own server, without calling any third-party service.

Links to the App Store and Google Play take you to Apple’s and Google’s websites, which apply their own privacy policies.

If you write to us

If you contact us through the chat bubble or by email, we use your contact details and message only to reply to you, and we keep them for as long as needed to follow up on your request.

The Take Orders app

The data processed by the app (account, catalog, orders) is described in the app’s terms of use.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to its processing and to restrict it. To exercise these rights, write to contact@food-connect.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
